South Carolina-born and New York-based, Collette is singing, writing and playing her way to new ground in hip-hop/soul. Her 2008 debut CD “Experience Collette” landed her a spot in The Gap’s “Born To Play” acoustic concert series, followed by rotation on the Music Choice TV network and opening gigs for Talib Kweli, Chrisette Michele and Eric Roberson. In 2010, she won the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest Holiday Song prize with her single “Keep Christmas Alive,” and was a repeatedly featured artist on BET’S CentricTV.com.

Jason “ClassicBeatz” Minnis is a producer,pianist,songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. He is the leading member of the instrumental duo Nicholas Kopernicus who released their critically acclaimed album Audiocentric in August 2009. He is also a member of the Smash Brothers hip hop duo (along with producer/MC Ash Holmz) who released their debut album Fear Factor in 2008

His new solo album titled Ntale’s Groove was released in January 2011. Ntale’s Groove is an instrumental project attempts to trace Jason’s African roots through music. Ntale’s is the tribal name that was given to Jason on his second visit to East Africa. Ntale’s Groove will be released on the Laid Back radio website over an 11 week period with additional content(stories, video ,pictures) complimenting the music.
